Helium he
Brief introduction of helium he:
Industrial helium is mainly separated and refined from natural gas with helium content of about 0.5% in the United States, Russia, Algeria and Qatar. With its low boiling point of - 268.9 ℃, liquid helium can be used for ultra-low temperature cooling. Helium is indispensable in the application of superconductor in the field of suspension train. In addition, due to its inert chemical properties and lighter than air, helium is often used as the filling gas in spaceships or advertising balloons, which is also well known. Helium has been widely used in the mixed gases for respiration in the field of marine development, and in the cooling of superconducting electromagnets for nuclear magnetic resonance imaging equipment in the medical field: military industry, scientific research, petrochemical industry, refrigeration, medical treatment, semiconductor, pipeline leak detection, superconducting experiment, metal manufacturing, deep-sea diving, high-precision welding, optoelectronic products production, etc.

matters needing attention:
Helium is a colorless, tasteless, non-toxic, non combustible high-pressure gas stored in the cylinder. The pressure is usually 15MPa. When in use, yqy-12 or 152in-125 pressure reducer should be used after decompression. Before use, soapy water should be used to check the gas pipeline to ensure that there is no gas leakage in the gas pipeline.
Ensure that helium does not leak and keep ventilation in the workplace. When the oxygen content is lower than 19.5% due to the increase of helium content, the patient will first have tachypnea, inattention and ataxia, and then fatigue, restlessness, nausea, vomiting, coma and convulsion, which will lead to death.
The packaged gas cylinders have been used for many years. The expired gas cylinders must be sent to the relevant department for safety inspection before they can continue to be used.
When the tail gas is used in each bottle of helium, the residual pressure in the bottle shall be kept at 0.5MPa, and the minimum residual pressure shall not be lower than 0.25MPa. The bottle valve shall be closed to ensure the gas quality and use safety.
During transportation, storage and use, the bottled helium shall be stacked in categories, and shall not be close to the open fire and heat source. It shall be kept away from the fire, oil and wax, explosion, heavy throwing and impact. It is strictly prohibited to strike arc or arc on the cylinder body, and rough loading and unloading. The short-distance moving helium cylinder shall use the special trolley for cylinder, and the long-distance moving cylinder shall be transported by dangerous goods transport vehicle.
The temperature of liquid helium is - 268.9 ℃. Contact with skin can cause severe frostbite.
